Four years ago, it seemed like our exile in Syracuse would never be over. Now as we make plans to move to our fabulous new apartment on the West Side, I can hardly believe it. It's been a few weeks since we graduated from med/law school. We went to Vegas for a little celebration. I start my residency in Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt on July 1st. Rebecca is studying like some kind of studying machine for the NY Bar which is coming up at the end of July. Seymour and Hero are happy and healthy.

Rebecca has been pretty busy with her second year of law school. If you haven't heard, she transferred to Cornell! The job interview process has been (knock on wood) extremely successful and is drawing to a close. So far she has two offers at top NYC firms. Clearly the two hour commute to Ithaca is worth it!

I started my third year at Upstate with the Ob/Gyn clerkship. This is way better than first and second year. L&D was fun, but I hated all the waiting. Why can't women deliver when it's convenient for me? Gyn Surg had better hours. Surgery is looking pretty good to me right about now. I start Outpatient next week.

We got a new apartment because our landlords (OPR) are totally sketchy. Our latest drama involves being falsely accused of dumping garbage outside the building and getting ripped off on the security for our last apartment. Bastards.
